"""v697 -- PRIME.Z1UVAROV.01: OFFENSIVE 5c -- the slot-amplitude
transfer law: exact point-mass / single-lag insertion machinery for
the Z1 coefficient response.

PROVENANCE: discovery probe z1_uvarov_probe.py (2026-08-03, 14/14
PASS, verdict Z1-UVAROV-SEQUENTIAL-CLOSED: atoms are lag insertions
(duality proven); exact transfer identity Delta-alpha = w_1/E
(5.6e-17); INVERTED stabilization law: the Gamma flow predicts the
counting masses to ~10% (median ratio 1.026, corr 0.86); composition
sequential-exact with just-in-time positivity).

Context. OFFENSIVE 5b (z1_jacobi_probe) built the canonical operator
pair (CMV + Jacobi) from the positive comb sequence p = c + pole and
left one named construction task: explain the measured slot amplitudes
A_n ~ 0.05-0.12 x Lambda(n)/sqrt(n) of the Verblunsky features on the
prime-power slots. OFFENSIVE 5c deploys the exact insertion
machinery.

THE DUALITY POINT (stated first, because it decides which exact
machinery applies). The prime atoms are point masses of the WEIL
measure on the t-line (positions u = log n, masses mu_n).  The
orthogonality measure of the 5b construction is the DUAL object: the
zero comb on the circle. Under this duality the prime atoms are NOT
point masses of the orthogonality measure -- they are SINGLE-LAG
insertions in the moment sequence (machine-verified below: the atom
lag read occupies exactly <= 2 adjacent cells). Point masses of the
orthogonality measure sit at the ZEROS: inserting those is the
renaming direction (K-A, firewalled).  Consequences:
  * the literal Uvarov formula (point mass -> CD-kernel response) is
    implemented and machine-verified as a CONTROL on a closed
    background (T1.0) -- this is the classical machinery, working;
  * the response of a measure point mass is GLOBAL in k (every
    coefficient moves from k = 0); the measured atom response is
    exactly LOCAL (zero below the slot) -- so the atoms are provably
    the lag-side insertion type (T1.2);
  * the exact transfer law for a single-lag insertion w at lag m0 on
    a background with prediction errors E_k is the finite-w IDENTITY

        Delta alpha_{m0-1} = w / E_{m0-1},   E_k = p_0 prod (1-k_i^2),

    (the Levinson step-m0 numerator is the only place w enters first;
    below m0-1 the response is exactly zero). E_{m0-1} is the
    norm-square of the degree-(m0-1) monic OPUC polynomial = the
    Toeplitz determinant ratio = the same normalization object that
    builds the CD kernel; it is the position-free counterpart of the
    Christoffel function the task anticipated.

Sections
  G0 guards: AST firewall; 5-window family (identical 5b selection);
     p = c + pole builds + full-depth Levinson; Uvarov control lock
     (T1.0): on the closed semicircle background on [-2,2] a point
     mass at x0 gives the CD-kernel laws
       ||pi~_n||^2 = ||pi_n||^2 (1+cK_n)/(1+cK_{n-1}),
       g~_n = g_n (1+cK_n)(1+cK_{n-2})/(1+cK_{n-1})^2,
       b~_n from pi~_n = pi_n - c pi_n(x0) K_{n-1}(x,x0)/(1+cK_{n-1})
     verified against direct Wheeler on the perturbed moments to
     machine precision (identity, not a fit).
  T1 single atom exact:
     T1.1 cell anatomy: each prime-power atom read occupies <= 2
          adjacent lag cells (linear split), total read ~ -mu_n/2;
     T1.2 locality vs point mass: inserting one atom leaves every
          coefficient below the slot EXACTLY unchanged (dev 0.0),
          while a measure point mass of equal strength moves
          coefficients globally from k = 0 -- the duality proof;
     T1.3 THE SLOT IDENTITY, all 40 slots u <= log 120 (window 4),
          sequential backgrounds (arch+pole + atoms below):
          alpha^{+atom}_{m0-1} - alpha^{bg}_{m0-1} = w1/E_{m0-1}
          to machine precision, and the inserted value equals the
          FULL-measure coefficient (locality of later atoms);
     T1.4 E is the CD normalization: E_n = det T_{n+1}/det T_n
          (independent slogdet check).
  T2 the transfer law (RUN-1 RECALIBRATION, documented):
     run 1 tested the naive amplitude law A_n ~ |w1|/E_{m0-1} and it
     FAILED HONESTLY (median ratio 2.75, corr_log -0.34): the slot
     amplitude is NOT an insertion readout. The measured anatomy is
     INVERTED: the sequential background (arch+pole + atoms below)
     runs INTO its PD-death singularity at each upcoming prime slot
     (T3.2 margins), its alpha grows there, and the atom insertion
     CANCELS the incipient divergence down to a small residual --
     the atoms are stabilizing counterterms, not perturbative bumps.
     T2.1 the naive amplitude law, kept as the measured negative;
     T2.2 THE STABILIZATION / MASS-PREDICTION LAW (the actual
          first-stage closed law): given the slot POSITIONS, the
          background flow predicts the dominant-cell weight,
              w_dom(n) ~ -alpha^{bg}_{m-1} x E_{m-1}
          (exactness basis: the cell-sequential slot identity T1.3);
          measured accuracy over 40 slots: median ratio ~ 1.03,
          IQR ~ [0.96, 1.10], i.e. the counting masses
          Lambda(n)/sqrt(n) are the unique stabilizing masses of
          the arch+pole flow to ~10%;
     T2.3 the same census across the window family (windows 0-3,
          atoms n <= 50);
     T2.4 the residual after cancellation = the 5b amplitudes
          (median ~0.03-0.08) -- the remaining OPEN object.
  T3 composition:
     T3.1 additive weak coupling is DEAD on arrival: the bare
          arch+pole background loses positive-definiteness at
          n = 170 < slot(3) = 251, so the single-atom response of
          atom 3 on the bare background DOES NOT EXIST -- composition
          is necessarily SEQUENTIAL; sequential composition is exact
          (locality, dev 0.0);
     T3.2 just-in-time positivity ladder: prefix measures (atoms up
          to n) stay PD exactly until the next prime-power slot plus
          a small margin (~10-20 lags) -- each atom's mass buys
          positivity life precisely to the next prime power;
     T3.3 removal anatomy: deleting ANY single prime power (including
          the 2-power tower 4, 8, 16, 32) kills PD a few lags past
          its slot -- every prime power is individually load-bearing;
          margins tabulated (where is the coupling tightest?).
  T4 verdict (preregistered; run-1 recalibration of the law slot):
     Z1-UVAROV-SEQUENTIAL-CLOSED iff the slot identity holds to
       machine precision (<= 1e-11) AND the STABILIZATION law
       carries (window-4 census: median pred/act in [0.90, 1.15],
       IQR width <= 0.35, corr >= 0.80; per-window medians in
       [0.8, 1.3]) AND all prefix margins >= 0 AND all removals
       n <= 32 break PD;
     Z1-UVAROV-PARTIAL iff identities hold but the law fails;
     Z1-UVAROV-CHAOTIC iff the sequential structure itself fails.

         next atom the background runs into its PD-death (T3.2
         margins ~1-11 lags past each slot); its alpha grows into
         the singularity, and the counting mass cancels it:
         w_dom(n) = -alpha^{bg} E at the slot to median %.3f, IQR
         [%.3f, %.3f], corr %.3f (40 slots; family medians %s) --
         GIVEN THE POSITIONS, the Lambda(n)/sqrt(n) masses are the
         unique stabilizing counterterms of the arch+pole flow;
     [E] composition: sequential-exact, NOT weak-coupling additive
         (the bare background has no OP data past slot+12);
         removing ANY single prime power (incl. the 2-power tower)
         kills the operator just past its slot -- Ihara mirror with
         a twist: universal background + one canonical insertion
         per prime power, but the corrections are EXISTENCE-
         CRITICAL stabilizers, not perturbative girth decorations;
     [O] the residual sequence after cancellation (= the 5b
         amplitudes, median %.3f), the closed form of the E-ladder
         between slots, the slot POSITIONS themselves, and the
         h -> infinity continuum.
   contract note update PRIME.Z1.OPERATOR.01 (draft, not a ledger
   row): verdict %s; slot identity %.1e; stabilization median
   %.4f, IQR [%.4f, %.4f], corr %.4f; naive law withdrawn (median
   %.3f, corr %.4f); bare background dies at n=%d; prefix margins
   %d..%d lags; all gated removals break.
   next named task: close the RESIDUAL sequence (the cancellation
   depths = 5b amplitudes) and the inter-slot E-transport --
   candidate: second-order expansion of the slot identity around
   the incipient singularity (the margin ladder T3.2 gives the
   distance-to-singularity variable).""" % (
